(PIMENTO) - Firefighters fought a blaze late Saturday night in southern Vigo County at an unlikely location.

The fire started in the Sycamore Ridge Landfill just before 11:00 p.m. Saturday night.

The landfill is off Cottom Dr. in Pimento.

Several Fire and Rescue units were called to the scene to help contain the fire.

No injures were reported.
