(INDIANAPOLIS) - Two people were killed when the driver of a large box truck failed to negotiate the curve at the north split of Interstate 65 and Interstate 70 downtown Friday afternoon.
The crash happened about 2:30 p.m., killing the 43-year-old driver and a 30-year-old passenger, both from Illinois.

Investigators said the driver may have been speeding when the truck failed to make it around the curve, went off the road and overturned.
The driver was partially ejected and trapped under the cab of the vehicle.
I-65 northbound was closed for more than two hours, and traffic was being diverted to eastbound I-70 at the north split.
The truck was hauling wine. Names of the victims weren't immediately released.
