Police: Limo, $30K In Guns, Rare Coins Stolen In Heist

(CLARK COUNTY)- Indiana State Police are asking for the public’s help recovering a stolen limousine and $30,000 worth of guns, rare coins and other items take from a Clark County home.

Andrew M. Evans, 28, of Floyds Knobs, was arrested Sunday on preliminary charges of burglary and theft in connection with a heist at a home on State Road 3 in Otisco June 3.

State police are looking for several pieces of stolen property, including a black 1999 Lincoln Continental Town Car limousine.

Several rare coins and two guns - a Winchester Model No. 94 22 Rifle and a Remington Black Hawk Model 41 Magnum Revolver handgun - were also taken.

Police are also looking for a 52-inch Sony flat screen television, a Honda push lawn mower, a Stihl grass trimmer/weed eater, a complete set of Calloway golf clubs in a Calloway golf bag, a Snap-on 14 drawer tool box full of miscellaneous tools, and numerous other hand tools and pieces of electronic equipment.

Anyone who's purchased, been offered or has seen any of the stolen items is asked to call Detective Dave Makowsky at the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg at 812-248-4379.
