(INDIANAPOLIS) - Police have identified the man who was killed in a hit-and-run incident on Interstate 65 Monday evening.
Andy Dion Richmond, 29, of Indianapolis, was pronounced dead on the scene after he was struck by a vehicle while putting gas into his truck, police said.
Evidence at the scene suggested that Richmond and his truck were both on the shoulder and not in the path of traffic, police said.
Police do not have any witnesses to the crash and are asking anyone with information concerning the incident to call the Indiana State Police Indianapolis District at 317-899-8577.
