Police: 16-Year-Old Shot In Indianapolis

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A 16-year-old boy has serious wounds after being shot on Indianapolis’ near west side Tuesday night.

The boy was riding on the back of a scooter in the 900 block of North Concord Street, near the intersection of 10th Street and Tibbs Avenue, when someone fired shots from a car, police said.

The car from which the shots were fired drove away.

Police said the motive behind the shooting is not clear.
