(MADISON COUNTY) - Dive teams searched a Madison County lake Sunday as police followed leads on the whereabouts of a man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend's daughter.

Roy Parmley, 53, tied up his ex-girlfriend, Terri Wiles, 53, and her daughter, Amanda Wiles, 31, in their home near County Road 650 West north of County Road 100 North early Saturday, police said.

He fatally shot Amanda Wiles before threatening to kill himself and running from the scene, police said.

Crews searched nearby woods and fields Saturday for Parmley.

Following leads Sunday, dive teams searched a pond near his home, but they found nothing.

Officers were in the Alexandria area Sunday night after someone reported seeing a person matching Parmley's description on foot with a gun.

Police described Parmley as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 205 pounds with brown and gray hair and brown eyes.

They said he was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and carrying two shotguns and a handgun.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Madison County Sheriff's Department at 765-642-0221 or 911.

"We are doing our best to locate Roy Parmley so he may be held accountable for his actions," Madison County Sheriff Ron Richardson said in a news release. "We will leave no stone unturned in this investigation."
