Indiana Sheriff Getting Help From America's Most Wanted

Last updated on Tuesday, June 26, 2012

(LAPEL) - Madison County Sheriff Ron Richardson says the search for Roy Parmley is getting some needed help from America’s Most Wanted.

The sheriff says they've gotten numerous tips and expect more after the showed aired last Friday.

Richardson says they believe Parmley is still alive and on the run. The Lapel man is wanted in connection with the June 9th shooting death of Amanda Wiles. Wiles was the daughter of Parmley's estranged ex-girlfriend.

Richardson says despite Parmley's threat to take his own life, they believe he's alive and on the run.
