Excessive Heat Warning Through Friday

(UNDATED) - An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect from 11 a.m. today through Friday at 8 p.m.

Our high temperatures will soar between 100 and 105.

The record high for this day: 101 1934. Hottest June day ever: 102 in June 25, 1988. A Knozone Action Day due to poor air quality is in effect for this afternoon too.

A Red Flag Warning is in effect from 11a.m. to 8 p.m. today. This means extremely high fire danger for all of central Indiana. Tonight the low will be warm at 74.

High temperatures on Friday will still be a scorcher-around 100.

This weekend a weak cold front will bring some spotty rain chances and temperatures in the 90s both Saturday and Sunday. It will also be more humid.
