(JEFFERSON CO) - Indiana State Police arrested a man Sunday night in connection to the death of his infant son.
Christopher Coy, 30, of Madison was arrested for the death of his one month old son, Christopher.
On Thursday, the baby was rushed to Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison, Ind., then was later life-lined to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Police say the baby died two days later.
An autopsy revealed his death was the result of blunt force trauma to the head.
Coy is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail in Madison on a preliminary charge of Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Death, a Class A Felony.
Investigators say additional charges could be filed later this week.
