(UNDATED) - Gas prices are expected to drop in the month of June, as much as 10-cents a gallon from today's prices.

Analysts say prices change from region to region across the U.S.

According to AAA, Indiana prices are still lower than the national average of $3.79 a gallon.

  • Indianapolis Avg $3.71/gal
  • Bloomington Avg $3.78/gal
  • Vincennes Avg $3.60/gal

Analysts now expect prices to drop next month, but probably spike in July and August, then drop again the closer to the November election.

Still, prices are nowhere near the $4-or-$5 per gallon some predicted for the summer earlier this year.
