(INDIANAPOLIS) - A man died Wednesday morning when his pickup truck hit construction equipment, crashed and burned in the 6600 block of Grandview.
Police say the truck was southbound on Grandview shortly before 3:00 a.m. when the accident happened.
Fire crews found the truck burning and the man inside.
A coroner will determine the man's identity so relatives can be notified. Police described the victim was white or Hispanic, and in his 20s.
The accident took place within the construction zone, and no other road closures are planned while crash investigators work at the scene.
