(TERRE HAUTE) A car collided into the back of a school bus carrying 31 students in western Indiana, but state police say no injuries were reported.

Watts says the 17-year-old driver of the car was cited for speed too fast to avoid a collision.

State police Sgt. Joe Watts says the accident involving a Vigo County School Corp. bus occurred about 3:50 p.m. Friday in West Terre Haute. Watts says a light rain had just fallen and the road was slick. The accident occurred just after the bus had dropped off a student.

Watts says the 17-year-old driver of the car was cited for speed too fast to avoid a collision.

Some of the students were released to parents with the remaining students were taken home on another bus.
