Sex Offender Working As Bunny Mascot Arrested

Last updated on Thursday, April 5, 2012

(EVANSVILLE) - Police say a man dressed up as the ‘Bunny Bread’ mascot for at least one Tri-State event is a sex offender.

Authorities say 45-year-old Benjamin Judson is charged with inappropriate communication with a child, failure to register as a sex offender, and battery.

Police say Judson has not been properly registering his sex offender employment status, and that's how he a got job through a temp agency to be the Bunny Bread Bunny.

Police say a co-worker accused him of inappropriate comments and touching her at a recent event at The Centre in Downtown Evansville.

Judson is in the Vanderburgh County Jail without bond.
