(ANDERSON) - Anderson police were searching Friday for man who stayed overnight in a Target store to steal thousands of dollars in electronics.

Police said the man entered the store at 5501 Scatterfield Road during regular hours March 16, the Herald Bulletin reported.

He then hid out until employees had left for the evening, grabbed thousands of dollars worth of iPads and iPhones and left the store through a maintenance door, police said.

The man was described as white, in his early 20s wearing a black sweatshirt and gray pants. He had a bandana covering his nose and mouth when he left the store, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
