(INDIANAPOLIS) - Police arrested a mother and her boyfriend in the January death of an infant boy.
Chelsea Taylor, 20, and her 29-year-old former boyfriend, Ryan Worline, were arrested Monday for causing the death of Taylor's one-year-old son. Both have been charged with felony neglect of a dependent, causing death.
Police were called to a home in the 4800 block of Lakeshore Place on the report of an unresponsive baby who was not breathing. EMS crews pronounced the boy dead at the scene when they arrived.
After an investigation, Worline was arrested at a residence in Indianapolis, while Taylor was apprehended in Shelbyville. Worline is being held at the Marion County Jail on a $50,000 bond, while Taylor was released after posting a similar bond.
Both are expected to appear for an initial hearing on Thursday, April 12th.
