(WHITELAND) - The Whiteland Town Council voted Monday to place the town’s marshal on administrative leave during an investigation into a complaint against him.
Whiteland Town Manager Dennis Capozzi confirmed that the council had placed Town Marshal Gary Neeman on paid leave Monday, pending the investigation into the accusations.
There is no timetable for Neeman's return to the job, he said, as it is dependent on the outcome of the investigation of the personal complaint.
