(KNOX COUNTY) - All lanes of U.S. 41 near Oaktown, Indiana are back open after a major accident just north of Vincennes.
The crash happened at around 9:30 Wednesday night.
The Knox County sheriff confirms that five people were killed when their vehicle ran underneath a semi. Witnesses reported an explosion after the crash.
The names of the victims have not been released.
A police news conference is expected to be held sometime this morning.
