(VINCENNES) - Vincennes Police are looking for the person who attacked a man following a car accident earlier this month.
According to Police 49-year-old Joseph Guerrettaz was found behind his damaged truck and appeared to be battered. He had facial injuries and a serious injury to his head.
Police say Guerrettaz had sideswiped a vehicle at the intersection and was attacked by a man after the accident. Officials say the alleged attacker then fled on foot.
Guerrettaz was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital but after his condition worsened he was moved to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville.
Guerrettaz remains in critical condition.
