(CLOVERDALE) - A Cloverdale woman faces felony theft charges for allegedly stealing from organizations where she worked.

Indiana State Police say Kimberly Wright was arrested Wednesday for stealing nearly $38,000.

Investigators say that Wright took $33,000 for personal use while working as an office manager for the Star Dust Hills Association.

Police also allege that she took $5,000 while serving as treasurer for the Cloverdale Mainstreet Association. The thefts reportedly occurred between January 2009 and March 2012.

Wright is in the Putnam County Jail on $15,000 bond.
