Clinton County Soldier Passes Away

(CLINTON COUNTY) - A Clinton County soldier has passed away after being injured almost a year ago by a sniper's bullet.

Sergeant Jamie Jarboe was paralyzed from the chest down after being struck by a bullet in Afghanistan last April.

According to the Facebook group dedicated to Jarboe, he passed away Wednesday morning.

A funeral is scheduled for March 31 in Topeka Kansas.

He was a 2003 graduate of Frankfort Senior High School.
