Indiana Conservation Officer Cpl. Terry Allen says that evidence suggest Eve's trip to Breathing Hole Cave in Harrison-Crawford State Forest was a planned effort to end his own life.

Crawford County Coroner Chris Brown says Eve died of a self-inflected gunshot wound to the head. Allen says there were no signs of a struggle or entrapment.

25-year-old Eve was last seen Oct. 1. His car was found two days later in the state forest along the Ohio River.
