(TERRE HAUTE) - Terre Haute business owner is behind bars.
Thomas Guess is charged with two counts of corrupt business and six counts of receiving stolen property.
His arrest comes after a year-long investigation by the Vigo County Sheriff's Department.
Officials say he had been buying stolen goods from customers at his business, Northside Recycling.
"Somebody is watching. If they're going to practice these illegal activities or fencing in this case, there are consequences and were going to be investigating those," said Vigo County Sheriff Greg Ewing.
Guess is held in the Vigo County Jail on $50,000 bond.
