Last updated on Friday, January 27, 2012

(COLUMBUS) - A pregnant woman wanted on two warrants allegedly kicked out a police car window after officers arrested her Wednesday on the west side of Columbus.

Christina Lynn Brumfiel, 34, was wanted on a warrant charging possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance and a warrant for a probation violation.

When Columbus Police Sgt. Bill Skinner and Patrolman Oscar Olmeda arrested Brumfiel, she scuffled with the officers and bit Skinner, said Lt. Matt Myers, spokesman for Columbus Police Department. Brumfiel also allegedly kicked out the police car window after her arrest.

She was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital for an evaluation because she told the officers she was pregnant, and then was booked into Bartholomew County Jail on the warrants and preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement, battery on a police officer and criminal mischief.
