Police Arrest Student After Bomb Threats

(VIGO COUNTY) - Quick action leads police to a student who they say made a bomb threat toward a local school.

Vigo County School Corp. Superintendent Danny Tanoos says he learned Thursday evening that a bomb threat was made for Friday, Jan. 13. Tanoos says a police investigation lead them to the student who made the threat.

Vigo County Detective Frank Shahadey and Superintendent Tanoos went to the student's home last night, where the student admitted to making the threat.

The student was arrested and charged with false reporting, a Class D Felony. The student is held in the Vigo County Juvenile Center.
