(UNDATED) - Indiana Bank & Trust Co. issued another fraud alert Sunday concerning a phishing scam.
Here is a copy of the alert issues by IBT and confirmed by Ray Eakins of IBT's Seymour offices confirmed the bank issued the alert after another round of fraudulent emails was making the rounds of both customers and non-customers.

"We have just been informed that there is another fraudulent text message going around that appears to be from IBT," Sunday's alert said. "It is being sent to customers and non-customers and is a phishing scam. We are working with authorities but please do not respond to the text or call the phone number. Please do not give out any personal information such as your account number, social security number or debit card number."

Eakins said the fraudulent text was not exactly like one discovered last week but was similar.
A phishing scam is described as fraudulent emails generally aimed at obtaining information that can be used to steal one's identity and gain access to financial and other records.
