(LAFAYETTE) - A woman is charged with terroristic mischief after a suspicious package was mailed to the Indiana Department of Work Force Development last month.
Indiana State Police arrested 43-year-old Lisa Bell of Lafayette this morning.
On December 30th of last year, the Indiana Department of Work Force Development at the Indiana Government Center South building received a package and letter claiming to contain an undisclosed, contagious virus.
Police determined that the items didn't pose a threat. Police say evidence links Bell to the letter and package.
She was taken to the Tippecanoe County Jail where she awaits extradition to Marion County. She's being held on $6,500 bond.
