(SULLIVAN COUNTY) (WTHI) - Police say a man whose body was found in a lake died from drowning.

(A press release issued by Indiana Conservation Officers states the body of Bryan A. King, 47, Sullivan, was found next to an abandoned boat in Sullivan Lake in Sullivan County, Ind.
Officers responded to the call around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1.

Officers believe King to have fallen overboard from his fishing boat earlier that afternoon, prior to his body being discovered.

They also report King was alone in the boat, and there were no other witnesses.
An autopsy was performed by Dr. Roland Kohr, Terre Haute.

Kohr's report shows King's death was determined to be consistent with drowning.
A toxicological test is pending, and conservation offices are still investigating the incident.

Sullivan Lake is 30 miles south of Terre Haute.
