Last updated on Thursday, December 8, 2011

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Five hundred local men and women are needed to be part of the stage crew that will help run the stage onto the field and perform other duties during the Super Bowl halftime show featuring MaDonna.

No prior experience is required, but volunteers must attend rehearsals and be over the age of 18. Interested volunteers may log on to www.superbowlproductions.com for more information and to register and view the rehearsal schedule.

Volunteers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the show which will be televised live on NBC. Watched by more than 162 million viewers in the U.S. last year, the Super Bowl is annually the nation's most-watched TV program. The game and halftime show will be broadcast worldwide.

Volunteers will not receive tickets to the game, but will be an integral part of the show.

They also will remain in a database for the opportunity to volunteer at future NFL events across the country.
