(MIAMI COUNTY)(WISH) - One person died in Miami County Tuesday night while battling snow and trying to help another man.
Officials say 45-year-old Glenn "Allen" Music died while trying to pull another vehicle from a ditch using a pickup truck and tow strap.
The strap Music was using came loose from the vehicle in the ditch. The strap's metal end broke through the rear window of Music's vehicle and struck him in the head. When police arrived to investigate, Music had already died.
The incident happened around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday on Miami County Road 300 North, just west of County Road 100 West.
Music's 4-year-old daughter was in the truck at the time, but she wasn't injured.
