(COLUMBUS) - Columbus East High School Senior Quarterback Gunner Kiel made it official Tuesday evening, announcing that he will be playing for the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge.
Alabama, Vanderbilt and Notre Dame had all been coveting the Gatorade Indiana Player of the Year.
Kiel, originally committed to Indiana but backed out in fall. He led the Olympians to a semi-state appearance in November before falling to Indianapolis Cathedral.
