(LOUISVILLE) (WDRB) - Police say it wasn’t enough for a couple of burglars to steal the money in a bill changer.
They had to take the entire machine.
Bryan Gibson and an accomplice are accused of breaking into the Pit Stop Auto Wash on Blue Lick Road, near Preston Highway, on Sunday. Police say they took the entire bill changer from the building.
The incident was allegedly captured on surveillance video.
Between the money in the bill changer, the machine itself, and the damage to the structure, police say the car wash lost roughly $15,000.
Gibson was arrested yesterday and charged with burglary.
