Man's Leg Amputated In Farming Accident

(CORY) - A Clay County man airlifted after a farming accident Friday morning.

59-year-old Larry Knust, of Cory, was unloading a grain truck when his foot became caught in an auger.

His lower right leg was amputated in the accident.

Knust drove himself 2.5 miles to his parent's home for help. He was airlifted after a 911 call was received at 11:25 a.m. and taken to Methodist Hospital where he is recovering.
