(KOKOMO) - It took more than a year for a Kokomo doctor to be arrested in connection with illegal drugs found at an Indianapolis hospital, but the fallout has been building quickly since then.
Dr. Silvio Sanchez was arrested Oct. 29 and charged with possession of meth.
But the arrest came more than a year after the illegal drugs were found in Sanchez' belongings while he was at Wishard Memorial Hospital last fall, according to court documents. In the mean time, Sanchez retained his license and continued to treat patients.
