Koch Arrested On Battery Charges

(SANTA CLAUS) - 46-year-old Phillip Koch, owner of Ho Ho Holdings which includes Lake Rudolph Campground and RV resort and the Kringle Place Shopping Center, has been arrested on charges of domestic violence.

He is one of five sons of Pat Koch, owner of Holiday World and Splashin' Safari.

According to police reports, Warrick County deputies went to a home located in the 10,000 block of Beardsley Road North. They found Koch's girlfriend waiting at the end of the driveway with a bloody face.

Deputies then made contact with Koch and arrested him on several charges including domestic violence, criminal confinement, strangulation aggravated battery and resisting law enforcement. He appeared in court on Monday and the prosecutor charged him with battery. He posted a $300 bond and was released from jail.
