Kentucky Soldier Held on Espionage Charges

(ALASKA)(AP) - A soldier from Daviess County, Kentucky is being held without bail in Alaska on suspicion of espionage.

The Anchorage Daily News reports specialist William C. Millay was arrested Friday.
According to the Army Times, he is a military policeman from Owensboro and assigned to the 164th military police company.

FBI spokesman Eric Gonzalez says Millay will be prosecuted through the military justice system.

The 22-year-old is stationed at joint base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage.
