(UNDATED) - Indiana has updated its travel advisory statutes to a three-tiered system statewide and all counties will now follow the same guidelines.

The first level is a travel advisory, which tells drivers whether conditions may make travel difficult.

The second level will be a travel watch, which permits only essential travel on the roadways.

And the highest level is a travel warning, which means travel is forbidden under most circumstances.
