(MICHIGAN CITY) - A Michigan woman died in a three-vehicle weekend crash in Porter County.
Jaya Patel was riding in a van when troopers say Jonathan Sanchez of LaPorte slammed on his brakes to stop for traffic and struck the van, killing Patel.
Sanchez was arrested for driving intoxicated, driving-drunk causing death and driving on a suspended license.
