(LOUISVILLE, KY.) (WDRB) - A member of the "Black Mafia Family" has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.

36-year-old Toree Sims was convicted back in July on drug conspiracy charges.

Evidence presented at trial said Sims was part of a cocaine and money laundering organization that operated in almost a dozen states. Sims was arrested along with nearly 50 other people in 2005 as part of a bust that netted more than 630 kilos of cocaine and $14 million.

Prosecutors said the gang used hidden compartments in stretch limos and other luxury vehicles to hide and transport money. Some of those vehicles even had devices that expelled air tainted by drugs to confound drug-sniffing dogs.

Sims was captured after being featured twice on America's Most Wanted. Tips from the show helped lead to his arrest in Atlanta in March of 2006.
