FORT KNOX, KY (WAVE) - A celebration took place on Sunday at Kentucky’s Fort Knox as hundreds of soldiers returned from Iraq.
A total of 400 members from the 8th Battalion 229th Aviation Regiment were honored at a welcome home ceremony.
The 8-229th has been serving in Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn for the past 13 months.
