(INDIANAPOLIS) - Marion County Sheriff's deputies are being credited with preventing an attempted escape from the county jail.

A lock down and search of the cell block produced three hack saw blades and a make shift crow bar. Four inmates have been charged with attempted escape.

Three of the four suspects were being held on murder charges.
