Victims Continue Recovery Following State Fair Disaster

Last updated on Thursday, September 1, 2011

(UNDATED) - At least four people remain hospitalized as a result of last month’s Indiana State Fair stage collapse.

17-year-old Brad Humphrey of Indianapolis is receiving treatment for a spine injury.

Andrea Vellinga of Pendleton is hospitalized with a severe head injury.

An online posting reveals Shannon Walcott and her 10-year-old daughter, Jade, continue their recovery. Shannon suffered broken ribs, vertebrae and a broken pelvis. Jade has a severe head injury and is still hospitalized at Riley Hospital For Children at IU Health.

A fund set up for those injured in the tragedy has raised over $817,000, but how the money will be distributed has yet to be determined.
