Jeffery L. Cockrill, 42, Fountain Run, Ky., and his two passengers, Stephanie Cockrill, 34, of Fountain Run, Ky., and Samantha Coulter, 28, of Adolphus, Ky., died at the scene.

A fourth passenger, John Coulter, 31, of Adolphus, Ky., was transported by Air Evac to the University of Louisville Hospital.

Kentucky State Trooper James Newkirk, said a Cockrill was driving his 2000 Dodge truck west on Ray Houchin Road in Edmonson county when he failed to yield at the railroad crossing.
