Last updated on Sunday, September 11, 2011

(NEW ALBANY) - The inspection of a Southern Indiana bridge declared structurally unsafe is expected to take up to three weeks to complete.

Governor Daniels announced the I-64 Sherman-Minton Bridge over the Ohio River closed to all traffic indefinitely after crews found a large crack in the structure.

Daniels and Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear are working together to ease traffic problems as much as possible.
