(PENDLETON) - Madison county authorities are investigating a fatal single-car crash overnight.
Deputies say state road 38 was closed for most of the overnight hours.
The car had come to rest wrapped around a utility pole. Power was knocked out to a few homes near Pendleton while line crews worked to replace the damaged pole.
