College Go! Week In Indiana

Last updated on Monday, September 26, 2011

(UNDATED) - Today kicks off College Go! week in Indiana. The week is a statewide promotion designed to get everyone thinking about college for the immediate or long term future.

Sarah Hess with learn more Indiana says the program reaches out to kindergarten through 12 grade students in an effort to get them thinking about college.

It also offers resources for adults who are going back to school and tips for current college students to finish their degree program.

Hess says it's important to get students thinking about college at an early age, especially those who could be the first in their family to go to college to begin thinking of college as a reality for their lives.

Hess says course planning for college and career goals is starting as early as middle school. Information about College Go! week is available on the website www.collegegoweekindiana.com.
