(INDIANAPOLIS) - A major college funding deadline is almost here. It’s the priority deadline.
Kurt Supe is with the website indycollegefunding.org and says students need to send in applications by a certain date, if they meet the deadline, they get priority on their application in terms of a lot of scholarships or merit packages. If students miss the deadline, the mistake could cost thousands of dollars.
Supe says guaranteed scholarships can range anywhere from $4,000 a year up to $9,000.
If you don't know the deadline... get on the school's website and find it, or call the admissions office. The priority deadline at Indiana University is Nov. 1, but the date varies from school to school.
