State Fair Victim Fund Keeps Growing

Last updated on Wednesday, August 31, 2011

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The fund established for victims of the state fair stage collapse keeps growing.

Central Indiana Community Foundation spokesman Mike Knight says the fund total is $242,404 as of Tuesday morning.

The total does not include proceeds from the Maroon 5, train concert that was moved to Conseco Fieldhouse from the state fair.

The total does include over $64,000 donated by Colts owner Jim Irsay who pledged to give $1 per ticket distributed for the Aug. 19 preseason game against the Redskins. Knight says they still do not have a procedure in place to distribute the funds.
