(SHELBYVILLE) - An arrest has been made in the death of a 22-month-old Shelbyville baby.
30-old Nathan Barker, formerly of Edinburgh, was taken into custody Tuesday night. He faces charges in the death of Jasper Simpson.
Simpson died earlier this month at Riley at IU Health. The Marion County coroner says the toddler died from blunt force trauma.
Barker faces felony charges for neglect of a dependent resulting in death, battery resulting in death and neglect of a dependent. He is reportedly dating the child's mother.
