(INDIANAPOLIS) - The family of a man killed in the State Fair disaster has filed a tort claim notice—a first step toward a lawsuit against the state of Indiana.
Glenn Goodrich was one of those who died at the scene. His widow is left to raise their two small sons.
Attorney Carl Brizzi says this is the first step for Goodrich's family to obtain the resources they need to survive as Glenn was the family provider.
The state has 90 days to respond to the claim.
