(UNDATED) - Governor Mitch Daniels appeared on NBC’s “Meet The Press” Sunday and spoke on several political topics.
Daniels says there are several good candidates in the Republican field, and he stated "the more the merrier." Daniels says he would campaign for any of the candidates after the nomination process.
He gave advice for the next president, saying, "we should address our economic issues and for that matter our debt issues, without at least raising tax rates. We are going to have to raise a lot more revenue and I think that means a new tax system of fewer loopholes and lower rates."
Daniels said he does not regret not joining the race for president, saying the race will do fine without him
